Glad to be reading a book that isn’t the literary equivalent of The English Patient, which has been hailed as the most boring movie of all times by several all rational critics and audiences alike.

I disagree with that comparison.
Larry and I visited Montpelier over Memorial Day while in Virginia. We have abit of an affinity for Jimmy Mad……I’m excited to see what you think of him. History Channel did a fabulous 2 hour documentary on Jefferson which I think will help you understand him more.
